Brutha Magazine: Spring 2012

I started off 2012 expanding on my editorial portfolio by working with a few newly established Caribbean publications focusing on art, lifestyle, and culture in the region. Last winter I came across Brutha Magazine's website and immediately thought it seemed like an interesting and much needed platform for Caribbean men. When approached by Editor in Chief, Travis M. Sweeting to join his team as Art Director with the primary responsibility of designing its first issue I was thrilled by the opportunity.

Brutha Magazine was launched in March 2012 with its spring issue featuring talented Bahamian recording artist "Sammie Poitier". The magazine is a celebration of fashion, lifestyle and entertainment for men. and exists to embark upon their journey through manhood, harnessing and erecting the very essence of sophistication, class, and style within. Brutha Magazine is missioned to become the voice of Caribbean, providing a go-to guide for living their best lives ever.
